Sextravaganza

First we had a suburban DC school system teaching students to put condoms on cucumbers, and now this...

George Mason University is sponsoring a "Sextravaganza" to help students "learn about the various aspects of sex: how to make it safe, how to make it fun, how to prevent unplanned pregnancy, and much more. Information on contraception, communication, STD's, sexual health, aphrodisiacs, sexual assault, abstinence, reproduction, and more."

The event, which is sponsored by the GMU Pro-Choice Patriots, has no particular political agenda according to event organizers. You don't have to read very far into their website to find that this group has a very definite political agenda.

"As President Bush prepares to begin his second term just two days before the 32nd anniversary of Roe v. Wade, Bush and his allies are using their trumped up "mandate" to justify their dangerous and divisive anti-choice agenda. But if winning a slim majority of votes is enough to convince the President of his "mandate," then we would like to remind President Bush of just one thing: A majority of Americans supports a woman's right to choose."

I'm sure that parents who are scrimping and saving to put their children through college are excited that their kids are learning about how to make sex "fun."
